Essential oils are commonly used in aromatherapy to promote physical and mental well-being. Aromatherapy involves blending different therapeutic essential oils to achieve the desired effects. Essential oils can be applied topically, inhaled, or added to bathwater.


1. Chamomile Essential Oil


Chamomile essential oil is a gentle calming agent that can help soothe anxiety, repair sunburned skin, and aid in sleep. Children are particularly sensitive to changes in their environment, so if they are in a bad mood or restless, you can use a mixture of chamomile essential oil to massage the soles of their feet, abdomen, spine, or other parts of their body to help them relax.


Chamomile also has pain-relieving properties and can be used to relieve muscle pain, such as in the calves or back, when diluted with jojoba oil and applied as a massage.


2. Geranium Essential Oil


Geranium essential oil is a must-have for girls. It has many effects similar to those of rose oil and is particularly effective in treating women's health problems, such as sore breasts, heavy menstrual bleeding, and emotional stress.


If you experience discomfort during your period while traveling, you can massage geranium oil onto your body to ease the symptoms. Geranium oil also has a diuretic effect that can help reduce swelling in the legs after prolonged walking or standing. It's also great for cleansing oily skin, balancing sebum production, and restoring a healthy glow.


3. Rose Essential Oil


Rose essential oil is great for moisturizing and hydrating the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines, and restoring the skin's elasticity. It also regulates endocrine function and can effectively alleviate menstrual disorders and dysmenorrhea. However, it is important to note that pregnant women should not use rose oil.


4. Lavender Essential Oil


The lavender essential oil has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, making it effective in soothing the skin, reducing acne and scars, and treating burns and sunburns. Inhaling lavender essential oil at night can also promote better sleep. However, lavender oil is not recommended for people with low blood pressure or pregnant women.


5. Jasmine Essential Oil

It can also promote breast secretion and increase breast size when used as a massage oil. Jasmine oil is effective in relieving menstrual cramps, but it is not recommended for use during pregnancy.

7. Sandalwood Essential Oil


Sandalwood essential oil helps moisturize and soften the skin, making it great for use during periods of dehydration or in the autumn and winter months. However, it is not recommended for use during pregnancy.
